Kagami mirrors and records on your computer. Your screen, your recordings and your microphone never reach our servers. Mic clean-up runs on your computer.
What we keep
- Your account: name, email and picture (if you sign in with Google).
- Your waitlist entry (email is optional), and which creator link you came from.
- Orders, license, and the computers your license is on: a name you can see, the system, when it was last seen, and a one-way code made from a hardware id (never the id itself).
- What you choose to publish: your Wall of Founders entry and community posts.
- For partners: channel details, payout details, PAN and verification status.
What the app asks for
Local Network to find your iPhone, and Microphone only if you record your voice. The app also reads a small settings file from our website (for messages and version checks), which sends nothing about you.
What we don't do
No ad tracking and no selling data. Analytics (our own anonymous visit stats and, if turned on, Google Analytics) run only if you accept cookies.
Who processes it
Supabase (database and sign-in), Cloudflare (hosting), Cashfree Payments (payments in India) and our merchant of record (payments from other countries), Resend (email), YouTube (view counts for partner videos).
Your choices
You can edit your founder entry and posts, and ask us to export or delete your data at [email protected]. We keep order records as long as tax law requires.
